About

I’m Daniel. I work full-time as a Senior Product Manager for an EdTech company in San Francisco. Before, I worked for Google and The US Missile Defense Agency. I have an MBA from Dartmouth, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Alabama (roll tide).

I believe something incredible is happening right now. Portions of the institution of finance are undergoing a massive transition to blockchain technology. I want to write about it. I want to know what you think.

This blog isn’t about the highly speculative nature of cryptocurrency investing; it’s about how the technology has intrinsic value that will change the world. If you’re here and you’re reading this, you’re early. Less than 4% of the world’s 8 billion people hold cryptocurrency.

Doubters say cryptocurrency is a solution in search of a problem, and adoption hasn’t gone as promised. Banks, lenders, and record-keepers haven’t kept pace with the digital transformation over the last 30 years, and that blockchain can fix that.
